I used to feel down about not finding music earlier in life. But I’ve come to realize — you either grow up with musicians in the family, or around people with amazing taste. If music’s meant for you, it finds you.

For me, it was the latter. My mom has incredible taste. Growing up in Islamabad, our home was filled with classics — Dil Da Jaani being one that really stuck.
